Good for him. 😀

That's awesome.

Rock on.

Violence is bad, but this bully had it coming (obviously).

Hard to punish him when he did something right, isn't it?

I don't "punish" per say, with this kid, quiet, reasoned discussion usually is enough.
Do u have but the one child?

nope 2 others,a 25 yr old daughter and another almost 21,I've also got 5 grandchildren🙂 my son is the baby of the family🙂

I don't approve of solving conflict with violence but I'm also happy to know that my quiet son can stand up for himself.Lol,he also apparently delivers a real wallop!

I guess you have to look at it from his view, a guys view. That probably boosted his self esteem as well as made a 'name' for him, now people know that if they are picking on him they are going to get a fist in the face. Just hope this other kid dosen't what to get even 😛

Hahaha....with the "YABT (Bully)" comment and then the "defined arms" comments, i think I might have to start a thread. *cries*

wtg for your son.

I've seen this happen plenty of times, but I smile each time. (I'm a teacher) Sometimes the bullies never learn til someone they think is timid and they're picking on turns around and breaks their nose or something. We had a student picked on because of his race - he finally snapped and destroyed the other kid with about 2 punches. Teachers were pretty nice to him about the situation - "well, you know the rules, you have to be suspended for a day, but good for you defending yourself against him."

He only gets a day off from school?

In our HS, if we punched someone, you get suspended, possible expulsion and police may intervene.

The teachers were actually very proud of him🙂

btw,he brings me home straight A's every marking period and glowing teacher comments,he's a good kid🙂

Oh the joys of being tall. Im 6'1, 175 lbs and a jr. in high school. Im taller than the majority of the kids at my school, so they usually dont mess with me....except this one kid who thinks he has the right to punch me any time he wants b/c he is a senior. One day Im just gonna snap 🙂

Are you crawling in your skin?

The only thing I would recommend is that you ask him how he might have resolved it differently to avoid the violent route.
