BTW, I have only made a couple of parody threads in my time here...how has it become that all of them are neffing etc? I post a lot in GH, and usually my posts have some substance?

EDIT: i always took neffing as posts just to increase your post count..."like FIRST POST POST COUNT++++" that one member got banned for...I did not have my post count at all in mind (post count does not matter anyway tis when you joined)

so since I know some people like a good flame, and have nothing else better to do then go dig up old threads of me posting in them...i'll give myself a vacation...and save the mods the trouble...

BTW, I have only made a couple of parody threads in my time here...how has it become that all of them are neffing etc? I post a lot in GH, and usually my posts have some substance?

Could be that the parody threads are getting out of hand today and I noticed you as a large contributor. If you're actually posting in GH then I absolve you of your sins as you're actually worth having around.

it's understandable why a lot of good folks leave the forum.

i'm not pointing any fingers, especially not to the subject of this thread, but i do think that any parody threads started by anyone are pathetic attempts at humor and are annoying. originality is a nice thing, so people should use their minds and start useful new threads.

Sure, the clever:sucky parody thread ratio is 1:10 at best, but the good ones are worth all the bad ones.

I swear, it's like attempting to be funny is a taboo around here.


I suggest a new forum: The Boring Forum. Only serious discussions allowed. the :| :laugh: and emoticons are banned.

I agree that people who post 50 parody threads in 50 minutes should get a length vacation. I agree that if it gets out of hand, a week ban may be deserving for someone who posts the 73rd uncreative parody of a thread. But COME ON!

Oh, and BTW, SoAN isn't that bad. I've seen him make his share of useful posts. He may be a bit parody happy, but...big whoop, it seems like a warning is all he needed to tone it down.

The only thing more pathetic than parody threads are posts that endlessly complain about them..
