1. Plane crashes and about half the passengers, including a surgeon, survive
2. Surgeon practices socialized health care on the island
3. Everyone dies

Any questions?

So who was that guy locke that everyone talks about? the cripple guy or whatever, everyone makes jokes about him what significance dose he have in the plot?

Also what was with the bunker and the codes they were typing in?

the way i understand it ( seeing part of the pilot and the whole finale ) is that it doesn't matter. seasons 1 ( pilot onwards ) thru 5 don't matter. there's some episode in season 6 where it goes sideways and that's supposed to be important. :awe:

Sounds like 90% of lost was fluff, they needed 6 seasons to explain the 3min story? Most of the stuff ive heard about dosent seem in any way related to anything.

You just figured out the mystery of the show.

Edit:
To answer your questions, John Locke was injured in a fall off the island and was wheelchair-bound for years. He crashed on the island with the other survivors, but suddenly he could walk again. He took a spiritual view of the island and believed that he was destined to be there for some reason. This was juxtaposed with the skeptical approach brought to the table by Jack, the surgeon. Some crazy shit happens, Locke dies, and a monster takes on his form to trick everybody. Yeah, really.

The bunker was originally a research station built on top of an unstable energy pocket. Occupants had to use a terminal to type in some numbers and hit a button every 108 minutes to discharge some built up energy. It was a big mystery in the first season before the survivors of the crash gain entry. Eventually, everybody says "fuck it" and it causes the whole thing to implode. After that, not so important.

john locke was the shit. DONT TELL ME WHAT I CANT DO.

EVIL john locke was really, really evil.

John - Do what I say, or I will kill them.

People he threatened to kill - "don't do it, we'd rather he kill us then you do what he says"

John - I'll make it hurt, for a long, long time before you actually die

People - ok do what he says

lol
