No, i ripped it off someone who posted it on the SA forums (www.somethingawful.com)... you know the place that started and popularized the AYBABTU phenomenon? I and several other people read the joke AND THE HILLARITY ENSUED! (popular SA remark in response to something funny ;))

My obviously poor joke was a take off of Phokus' joke using the A-Team's catch phrase, "I love it when a plan comes together" Apparently their plan didn't come together.

actually, long before SA knew about AYBABTU it was already a joke within the emulation community. specifically on the retrogames forums because retrogames hosted an emu comic called 'overclocked' where they pointed out this game and it's messed up translation and sayings in one of their comics. i was kinda surprised how like one year later it got popular all the sudden, but that swf sure helped i guess.

Phokus -

You try to entertain the masses and what do you get? Crapped on. Everyone with a keyboard is a critic.

You tried, though in vain, to bring a little light into the lives of others.... people like myself seeking a sense of community online, where the bad man with the broomstick and the little Raggedy Ann doll can't hurt them.

You tried to give of yourself... your comedic stylings laying there naked... vulnerable, like that shaved paraplegic rat named Edgar that I used to play with before the "fire"... only to have people point at you and laugh... LAUGH! Laugh like my first girlfriend before... well... that's not the issue here...

The point is that the 3 Musketeers are funny, damnit!

Thank you...

Did you really find that funny or are you just showing off that you know the names of the 3 musketeers?

I'm just happy that this execution circus is over, with or without the sworn-in protectors of the king of France.
