I thought that you guys would like to see how pathetic high school students are. This paper was written by a student that goes to my high school for his astronomy final about space life.

Sounds Like this fellow isn't looking to the future, or exploration. But, wants the here and now.....and thinks he can get there with a bit of Weed :disgust:

He is totally avoid of the reality of what this endevour will undertake.



Tell him to go back to the First Grade :Q
 
Yeah, it is pretty sad.
All I can say is at least he turned it in, you wouldn't believe how many kids just don?t even do their homework. I believe that public education is fine as long as the students take advantage of it, the problem is that those who dont take advantage get no true punishment to deter them from not working.
 
Well....in the end....yes they do.

They are the ones that work at Wal-mart....or the nice and Easy....or the jobs that pay the "Big Bucks" for a week or two. 😉 Then have a 3 year lapse between jobs. They Drive 1985 Dodge Spirits and have 5 or 6 kids that they can't understand how they got here. :disgust:

You wouldn't believe the kind of drinking problem there is in my school. It seems like that is all people talk about...getting drunk, what kind of fun is that especially since it is illegal. That is one thing I just cant stand about school, knowing that everybody around me are a bunch of idiots who break the law and ruin their lives by going around and drinking along with the other stuff that comes with it. I just dont understand how so many people can turn out like that (lousy parents?, lack of religion?, no morals?...)

Have we met the author? Eh, I guess not. His profile states that he's from Minnesota, while TM is from Iowa. It would have been a logical guess though, no? 😉

Most of that is highly impractical... he ignores the weight limitations of space travel, and the timing problems - not to mention food storage issues. Of course, who would want to move there to colonize it anyway, with his FUBAR excuse for "law enforcement"? And whoTF writes a research paper with expletives?

Oh, how I wish I could take this as a joke and be LMAO, but sadly, he's serious (AFAIK). :Q
 
One note: Coors light is not beer. 😉 German beer is the way to go. (but if anyone wants to send me Canadian beer I am willing to try that) 🙂
