I'm stuck. I've tried posting before but no one responded. I'm still having the same problems. This morning when I turned my computer on the power to my keyboard didn't even turn on. So I turned off the computer, and turned it back on, and then it worked.

Is there any reason why this might be happening?

Thanks a lot.

If it's a USB keyboard... it could be part of the problem. In one of the BIOS menus.. there is an option to enable USB keyboard @ startup. Enable it and it should solve all your problems. I hope your AGP port doesn't blow out like mine.

I have the MS Internet Keyboard Natural with the hotkeys on top and it has the USB Hub built into it. So it's still a PS2 keyboard but it has a USB extender and then 2 ports on my keyboard for USB.

The odd thing is, it happens like maybe 1 out of every 4 boots it has no power. I believe. I don't know. I just turn it on and pray that my keyboard turns on. Any other thoughts?

If you are plugging the keyboard into the USB port... go enable the option in the BIOS. Hubs don't mean squat, it's how you hook it in.

The reason why it's going @ that ratio is due to the fact that the BIOS is booting up and can't find the keyboard. So it defaults back to regular settings.

I'll give it a try =) Thanks. It does have a PS2 connector though, so I figured it was a PS2 keyboard..
