MRirian (Magi) is a girl who puts videos on YouTube. She claims to live in America on her profile on YouTube, although it lists Japan as her country of origin. Her videos usually show her at her computer, looking into the webcam. Sometimes she says a few words in Japanese and a word or two in English, such as bye bye. She will show a sideways peace sign at the end of her videos when she says "bye bye". Sometimes she eats a bite of particularly large pizza.

Anonymous Analysis

The mystique of MRirian is in her minimalist approach to video content. About half of her videos consist of her looking into the camera lens and saying nothing. The fact that she succeeds in getting an enormous amount of viewers with this approach is a big part of her enigma. Many viewers leave comments pondering such questions as "Why does she have so many views?", and "How old is she?", or "What the heck is she saying?". Her appearance makes her seem possibly younger than her stated age of 21, thus generating debate about whether she really is 21 or much younger. A good deal of debate also concerns her ethnic origins, whether she is Azn or partly Azn or simply White American.

People find her videos by seeing them listed in the Videos Being Watched section of the front page of YouTube. While many thousands of people have been devoting energy to creating interesting or informative videos on YouTube, MRririan has emerged as a stylistic innovator in the manner of John Cage and seems to be a fulfillment of the prophesies of Andy Warhol.

stop crying pedo. a lot of asians tend to look younger than whites of the same age. get over it.

but she does look a little "off" (not in the age department).

I don't know about you but all this talk about digital effects has me thinking that all the videos are just a 3D render, and that it is some sort of viral marketing in some sense.
That by first creating a digital girl and having her post on popular website we can give her an identity even though in the end she might just be a lot of polygons.
On a further note after watching a couple videos I cant but feel that some of her movements are unnatural which leads me to really wonder.

Definitely no CG render. She's the real deal.

#1.) She gets mega views 'cuz she's ANIME PORN COME TO LIFE!!!

(Everybody GUY here knows that, but doesn't want to post it)

#2.) Yes, she's growin' a stache! (Time ta' wax that sucker)

#3.) Yes, hopefully she gains enough recognition to afford herself some grill straighteners!!! She needs 'em.

Wow at the advancements of Japanese robotics industry. The U.S. needs to catch up so we can start replacing those low level workers.

Well that was 10 weird minutes of my life I will never get back...

My personal opinion is that she is either CG or a robot. An experiment to see if folks can tell the difference.

She's obviously half-white, she's probably speaking accented Japanese that she learned from her Japanese parent. If she lives in the US she probably has an American accent.
