Saw this while waiting in line for food(it can take up to 15 minutes so give me a break :p) and thought it was fairly amusing. You'd think if they were going to spend thousands of dollars printing and putting up posters, they would have at least used a quote with better grammar. But hey, that's why I'm majoring in accounting and not marketing.

Sorry for the blurry words. My camera phone sucks and that's the best shot I could take with it.

If it's a quote, and he actually said it that way, then I see no problem.

edit: although it is missing the other quotation mark

It's not a spelling problem, it's the atrocious grammar.

Oh, it was a general statement. Kids really are getting out of high school and college without a solid grasp of their own language. Any time a teacher had us "peer review" each other's work, I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry, but it was always PAINFUL.

What the guy in the picture said was more coherent than some of what his classmates turn in for homework.

Are you retarded? Or do you read literature for first graders?

Seriously, read the Scarlet Letter and tell me if that's confusing grammar, after.

WTH is your problem? "I have gotten the chance to meet at work with people." is obviously incorrect. The verb meet doesn't take a indirect object, it takes a direct object. That's why the use of a preposition sounds dumb.

Edit:
"I have gotten the chance to meet people at work" would have been the correct way to way to write it.

Please keep your asshatry elsewhere.

The grammar doesn't look incorrect, the sentence is just awkward. He tried to make his statement sound sophisticated and ended up failing miserably.

Edit: Although yes, it is missing a period and a second quotation mark.

Way to generalize 60,000 people there buddy. Obviously, have our fair share of idiots, but we also have a great deal of nationally known academic programs. Regardless, it isn't really relevant to the topic at hand.

Meh, that's nothing. I went and grabbed an unopened soldering iron the other day to do some soldering and happened to take a look at the back. Here are just a snippet of the instructions. This is an exact quote. I couldn't even make this shit up.

- Initial Use, there is some smoke temporary but it will soon be diminished then, no smoke after all. -Don't make coil with water as it may causes damage of heater. Request for natural cooling. - After use the tip may still the hot. Allow to cool sufficiently before touching or store or may occur burns or fires.

Kind of sounds like W wrote that, doesn't it?

Looks like someone used babbelfish to translate it from Chinese to English.
