I think it's crashed. I live in Tampa, and I didn't hear the sonic boom, and I hear it everytime it lands here.

Supposedly, it was seen over Dallas, but hasn't been spotted since then.

It broke up over north Texas, or I should say it was seen breaking up over north Texas. Theres video of it breaking into pieces. :(

WFAA(ABC) out of Dallas caught live footage of it "breaking" apart as it passed over Fair Park(Cotton Bowl, etc).

Thats pretty odd...

About ~15-20 minutes ago I hear a very audible quick series of "booms". It was almost like thunder.

Overheating is being mentioned...tire pressure was high. Maybe came in at a bad angle?

Is this it for the shuttle? After Challenger didn't they say one more accident means its grounded for good?

Praying for all those onboard...

Not funny. Even terrorism is a possibility--Hindu and Israeli were onboard and could be 'targets' of terrorism.

They just reported that there was a loud impact in a town 100 miles south of Dallas. Anybody near that location?

One of the many things we take for granted until something really bad happens. How many of use even knew the shuttle was landing today? I didn't.
