It looks like their servers are down finally. I know they were somewhere in the NOLA area, and they were on generators for a while. I guess it's gone now...
 
They're hosted with Zipa and that site is up right now at least. I'm not surprised it went down - it's probably near-impossible to get fuel to run the generators where they're at now.
 
Following this is real interesting. The guy who runs the company that hosts somethingawful is Michael Barnett, and he is currently in New Orleans committed to keeping his datacenter going, which hosts 800,000 sites. Somethingawful takes up a lot of bandwidth, and this is what he said:

"Something Awful, bad news. We have to take you offline for now. We have to get more
OC3s back online and that's down the street. Doing what we can, people."

It's real interesting reading his journal, because you're getting a perspective on the situation down there that is not mainstream media. Thanks slashdot!

I thought this was interesting:

We're talking about the basics of survival here!
