Something wrong with my jaw

When I chew food I hear/feel this creaking crackling sound coming from the right side of my jaw. It's really starting to bother me. It does not hurt, it just sounds weird.
Anyone else have this happen?
Am I going to die?

Well mine doesn't pop thankfully. That would truely drive me nuts.

Mine does the same thing. It annoys me and disgusts my wife.
