hey, well today i finally finished my computer, everything was okay until wen i boot up my computer , it sed Detecting IDe Drives, it took a long time to detect but nothing happened it just stayed the same, and wen i try to press delete for the bios my keyboard didn't work.?? well does nebody know a way on how can i fixed this ??

Are the drives jumpered correctly?? Are you using a Western Digital drive??

Bingo. Same thing just happened to me for a minute :eek:

Edit- in that case, try a different IDE cable. I had a bad one recently and same thing happened.

Could the cables be bad?? What happens if you unplug all the drives and attempt to boot/POST??

EDIT: I"ll be here a little while now. No more distractions. :)
