There are lots of ways people decide to promote awareness of breast cancer: by wearing little ribbon pins, buying sponsored pink products, doing a run/walk with friends. But this one is new to us -- The entire staff of the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Ore. donned pink gloves and recorded a dance to Jay Sean's "Down." Then they posted it on YouTube to the delight of anyone who secretly hopes that working at a hospital is exactly like an episode of "Scrubs."

Not surprisingly, the video has since gone viral. Here's what the staff has to say about the dancing montage on their YouTube page:

"Our employees put together this video to generate breast cancer awareness throughout our hospital system. We had a ton of fun putting this together and hope it inspires others to join in the cause."

Watch the video to check out the mad dancing skills of these surgeons and cafeteria workers:

I don't get the point of "promoting breast cancer awareness". I'm not trying to be an ass, cancer is a terrible affliction that is difficult for anyone to deal with. I understand promoting research with $$$ and I understand the promoting of self examination, and of course I understand the mental assistance towards anyone dealing with it. But beyond that, how aware can you be?

Promoting awareness = more funding for breast cancer research. What's there to understand?

It's one of the few cancers that fairly easily can be caught early.

Just curiosity on my part. Doesn't seem fair to everyone else suffering from various types of cancer. A friend of mine has been having a very rough few years with testicular cancer and nobody is wearing a ribbon for him.

ok maybe its just my harmones but i almost shed a tear. shut up guys........
this video doesnt only make me aware of just breast cancer, watching it makes me aware that there are all kinds of cancers we are trying to fight and the more aware we are of one, the more we can be for the others as well.
