Something that should be clarified with the chinese espionage debate.

I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with the Cox report.. a bipartisan overview of chinese espionage within our borders extending to the clinton adminstration.

It's serious business.. and something I've spent a bit of time researching. And it deserves its own thread.

This problem is real. And I don't see bush doing anything about it which angers me even more.

I've got quite an abundance of resources, this just touches the surface. If you are interested you can pm me, and if you think this isn't a serious problem then you haven't put the same amount of time researching this as I have.

According to the report, China clandestinely controls more than 3,000 front companies in the United States, many concentrated in high-tech regions of California and New England.

LMAO!!! *snort*

I don't see this as too much of a big deal.... every country spies on every other country. So China does it's best to spy on the US... you don't think the US spies on China?

So China stole nuclear weapons information..... so what? If it ever comes to the point where nuclear weapons are invovled, we're all screwed anyway - secrets or not.

I guess the question is, what do you want Bush to do, exactly?

I am sure the U.S is doing something about it quietly. Just like they are doing something (I hope) about the huge counterfeiting operations sponsored by some middle eastern governments. The public just does not here much about it. The CIA still stays pretty busy despite the fact that the US/Soviet cold war is over.
