motorcycle batteries are sealed?

i dunno, i've never hacked an ups before, just read about it. i never got around to it😛 that being said me thinks for a gaming system u really need a large marine battery or two to get decent run time.. else its just save and shutdown asap!

Aren't most batteries nowadays?

Besides, you wouldn't want battery acid spilling all over the place just because you tipped over the bike.

I started out with car batteries but went with the safer sla's. After about 7 years doing it this way neither have needed to fully discharge.

nope. mazda3 (2004-2008 models ) came with batteries you could fill up w/water.
i never knew this till AFTER i replaced the battery... GRRRRR!
