Something strange about my Antec PP-403X 400 watt power supply

I recently bought an Antec SX1040 case with the antec power supply. The label on the power supply identifies it as a PP-403x 400 watt supply atx spec 2.03. When i look on Antecs website it shows the 1040 sx as coming with a 412x power supply which supports the P4. Guess it has that extra power connector. when i look at the power supplies pictured on Antecs website the only visual difference i see is the 412 has a removeable chrome fan grill. To make it short my power supply has the extra p4 power connector and the chrome fan grill which the 403x isn't supposed to have according to Antecs website. The specs on Antecs website basically show them to be identical with the exception of
a +5V, +3.3V and +12V combined output: 380Watts max rating listed in addition to +5V and 3.3V combined output: 245Watts max. rating that is on both the 403's spec and the 412's specs. Also the 412 has a +12v amp rating of 17.0amps whereas the 403 has a +12v amp rating of 12.0amps. Think there is a possibility that i got a 412x mislabeled as a 403x seeing as how it has the different fan assembly and the p4 aux power cable?

Same as the PP403X I just got on my SX1240. Chrome fan guard w/Adda fan and P4 connector included. Label says PP403 and lists the older specs.

I am starting to think that they are only making the one design now as it really doesn't make sense to make 2. They are identical in price and work on either platform. Must have a better +12 volt rating if they have that p4 connector. Where's AntecCSR to clear this up when you need him.

If your PS is listed as being ATX spec 2.03 compliant as you stated then it should have the extra power connector for the P4.
