Something pretty amazing that 9/11 brought out in people

I've been doing a lot of reading on alot of the musicians I listen to, and the inspiration for some of there stuff when I stumbled on a piece about Ja Rule, and how he participated in the remix of Marvin Gaye's 'What's goin on', fundraiser and tribute to volunteers for 9/11

When I noticed the variety of people that participated in it, it kicks off with Bono, then it brings in Sting, Gwen Stefani, re-unites N'Sync and the BSB, even people like Fred Durst and Ja Rule, who otherwise have no reason to sing a song like that and even people of other nationalities (Nelly Furtado -- Canadian).

When I watch this it makes me think what were doing is atleast something positive, though I'm gonna leave the politics out of this.

Theres a fundamental goodness in everyone somewhere I think, and it's amazing what can bring polarizing people together.

I listen to everything, hip hop, r&b, country, classical, indie, rock, alternative, heavy metal, pop, everything.

This isn't about my music taste.

I listen to rap too, just not Ja Rule. I liked the song over all. Considering the producers involved and the labels, I wonder how much togetherness actually happened. A good and positive thing none the less.

Agreed, I was suprised some of those people would be in the same room as others.

Like I said, something like 9/11 does some pretty magical stuff to people.

Hey, if you can reunite N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys, you can pretty much accomplish anything...

Ja Rule can kiss my ass. His asshole driver doesn't know how to make a left turn, tried to run me off the road, and then he rolled down his window, yelled something at ME, gave ME the finger.

F*ck Ja Rule.
