Alrite, this is the deal, i just got an antec case, and i just took everything and basically moved everything over. So it does not boot...i was pissed for a while...so i decided to sit it on its side, as opposed to upright like its supposed to be...and it boots....miracle...anyone know whats up w/ this?

skip to the end....although i haven't checked to see if this upright/on its side thing has been solved...

Is the mobo screwed down tightly? Possibly shorting out in the upright position?

Either that JC or he has possibly something not seated correctly such as cpu , video card ,etc .

yeah, either it's getting shorted out by a loose screw, or something is not seated right.

At first glance I would say that you have a 100fsb cpu but after looking at your pc specs we can forget that idea especially as all you have done if moved everything out of one case and placed it in another .

I would check in your bios when your able to boot at 100 if there are any settings that may impede your ability to run at 133.

Not knowing your motherboard I can't really say but check to see if you have to change any ram speed settings or timings , also try default settings and see if your able to boot.

Have you tried taking a 14lb sledgehammer and giving it a good olde swing ? :D

I have one you can borrow ;) hehe

Ok personally what I would do is strip the whole thing down and start from afresh , only installing the basics such as cpu, vid and memory and go from there.

Also give the manual a good read and check through your bios and set everything to default.

When you moved the parts from your old case did you remove all your components from the motherboard such as the cpu and memory or did you leave them installed ?

Are you still able to get your system to run/boot at 100fsb ?
