Something interesting I would like to see...

An e-mail client that stores and sorts your mail just like Gmail does with its web interface, except locally. I think that would be quite interesting since I particularly enjoy the conversation interface.

Thoughts?

Because, it would do it with other POP services. I'm sure there are other reasons. I'd just think it'd be interesting.

What I would really like is GMail serving as an e-mail client for POP and/or IMAP e-mail accounts. That way I could check my Hotmail/Yahoo from just one website.
