Watching one of those 'reality cops shows'. . .

Woman hits man with stick - visibly injures his shin.
Man takes stick - hits woman on shins - no visible injury.

Man tells story.
Woman tells story (to the police).

Police let woman go home.

Put man in back of car. . .check him for warrants, etc. . .take him off. . .

Sigh. . .

$100 says the guy was a drunk white male with no shirt on, pockmarked face, messy hair and a mild case of Tourette's?

Unfortunately, this is the way it works in our society. That's why I just bury the body where it can't be found! ;)

LOL don't forget the banging-the-head-on-the-car-window bit. Classic.

Definitely. Or the random redneck neighbors yelling at the cops for harassment.

We should also mention the wild chases through back yards which end up with a few cops holding some dude down while they pant & let HQ know that they got the guy. "I think he threw something back there" (pant pant) or "He just swallowed something" (pant pant).

Damn, been AGES since I've watched Cops. Maybe they have all-new crap going on.

Moral of the story:

Women should be treated equally, except for when it comes to things they have the upperhand in.

What about all that equality stuff?

Laws should be applied equally. . .
funny, the last Cops episode i watched they hauled a chick away for domestic violence for scratching a guy's arm with some scissors. it was a small scratch that barely broke the skin. not condoning it, just saying... women do get charged with DV.

That IS reality.

I have a friend that has a domestic violence charge on his record. His wife regularly hit him. One night she went nuts on him.. clawing, punching, etc. He finally pushed her away. She fell on her ass, started crying and called the police. Police show up, see no visible injuries on her, see him bleeding from multiple claw marks and they arrest him.

My friend's ex-wife is currently serving 3 years for attempted armed robbery which occured two months after she finished serving a 18 months for drugs.
