Something I don't understand . . . "The Postman"

XMan

We got into a heated debate about this movie at work today . . . it wasn't arguing about whether or not it was a good movie - interestingly, we all liked it - but why it was regarded as a poor movie. There were varying degrees of enjoyment among the group of course, but we still felt it was a decent flick.

So why is it looked at as a crappy movie? I enjoyed the book as well as the film; the movie was a bit different from the novel, but I can see why they made the changes that were made.

So . . . tell me . . . do I just have strange taste? Why is it a bad flick?

hey i liked it, but i kinda felt like it was film by Kevin Costner for Kevin Costner, but all in all, it was a descent flick.

That movie was terrible. It was way WAY too long. The story did more than lag in a few parts. At the end, it seemed like it was going to redeem itself with a big epic battle scene, But NOOO....it seemed like they ran out of money and just had to have them fight one on one. I know he had to challenge for leadership of the clan or whatever eventually, but it was still really hokie.

late.
