Something fishy...

I had listed my RAZR for sale for $250 on Craigslist (said available for local pickup or will ship it to a paypal verified address) and I got a mail (see below) from someone who is interested in buying this. The buyer is ready to pay $300 while I am asking for only $250.
Does this sound like a scam?

Fishy. He's gonna send you the money and then give you a shipping address that's either not local or not paypal-verified, and expect you to suck it up because he paid extra.

Hard to tell...

Ive offered over listed price on craigslist to assure my email gets noticed, and has precedence over the people who have responded before me... but only by $5- $10...

I guess if he sends you 300, then tries to put crazy shipping charges on you, you can always deny it and refund him, just send him a notice with your response that it has to be a paypal verified address to qualify for you to ship for free to.

Right from the craigslist "scams and fraud" section:

Be wary if the other party wants to use an escrow service such as BidPay or Squaretrade

1. Buyer writes you a fake check/money order for $300 (or have it wired)
2. Buyer then proceeds to ask for the difference by mail or asks for it to be wired.
3. You send him $50
4. Your bank tells you the check/money order is fake days later

In the end ...

You're out a Motorola Razr, $50, and possible bank fees. The joke is on you.

Nigerian-scammer grammar. Run, do not walk away from this.
It's funny, it seems every single one of them says it like that.

Also, this sentence:

doesn't really work. That reeks of "email prepared and sent to hundreds of people selling items, with said item copy+pasted straight from the description."
