can someone tell me whats the difference between VDIMM 3.2V and 4.0V
because some motherboard only support until 3.2V while some until 4.0V.
What is the difference?
I plan to run 4X512DDR value rams in dual channel and then upgrading to FX57 and 7800GTX in the future.
Examples:- DFI ultra infinity = 3.2V while DFI lanparty ultraD is 4.0V

some ram runs at higher volts ( you wont need to worry about it), and some people increase volts past stock voltage to oc better

Regular DDR RAM actually runs at 2.6V. Those motherboards are designed for heavy-duty overclocking and allow you to overvolt the RAM without needing to modify the board. This can help improve stability at high speeds, but it not needed for normal operation.

Unless you plan on doing extensive overclocking, it will not make a difference.
