There is a hemi one on youtube, it requires two fat rednecks each with a handle. I don't know if this could have kickback, perhaps that only happens with trees under stress or something, but imagine if it happened with this.

Some of my wifes uncles and cousins are loggers in northern Idaho. One of them used to compete in the Hot Saw competitions. His "racing" saw used a Yamaha motorcycle motor back in the mid-70's. Sadly, he passed away at 50 from brain cancer IIRC.

Probably safer than a normal chainsaw. Wost thing that happens is you drop it on your toes. A light chainsaw has potential for being accidentally swung into somebody or yourself.
