Just came up on Norton:

Date: 2/11/2002 Time: 12:18:00
Rule "Default Block Sokets de Trois v1. Trojan horse" blocked (BigBoy(172.23.0.192),5000). Details:
Inbound TCP connection
Local address,service is (BigBoy(172.23.0.192),5000)
Remote address,service is (172.23.60.23,3684)
Process name is "N/A"

Does that mean I have something or someone trying to get to me has something?

Yes, it does appear that someone on the network has a trojan horse - Since you both have 172.23.x.x addresses (which aren't Internet routable) I assume this is within a corporate network.

With a trojan horse, it's not that someone is trying to maliciously attack you - They just did something stupid and got a trojan on their computer that is trying to replicate itself. Something to tell the IT guys right away!

Okay.. so then it is not me who is infected, but him.

I will see about contacting the person who has the torjan.

Thanks.
