If you don't want to do business with me, that is fine. You don't have to insult me infront of the whole forum

J/K... it's not me.

What is that person trying to get out of this?

If I were a spammer looking for internet/computer savvy people, I would go to message boards as well. Especially ones that verify email addresses and prevent hotmail/aol/yahoo/... accounts for memberships. That's just me though...

as I pointed out a wile ago its not that hard to extract E-mail addresses from Fusetalk's User Profiles, all you have to do is go to http://forums.anandtech.com/tombstone.cfm?ProfileID=1 and increase the profile ID by one and extract listed E-mail addresses, fusetalk 4 fixes this by inserting REMOVE randomly in the listed E-mail address, tho I am sure spider programs are looking for these types of things now and removing the remove, your best bet is to include the word remove in caps in your E-mail address to defend agenst that. its a never ending war, and the only way its going to stop is when the spammers are damaged by what they do.

The easyest way to spam is to use one of those aol screenname catcher things. They randomly go in aol chatrooms and copy all the names then spam them...that way you get the most gullible people and all you gotta do is press one button :)

yum, like those cereal bars!

You should try the Special K cereal bars, CostCo B&M sells boxes of 20 for $6.99 amazing price!

They come in strawberry and blueberry, they're both delicious, good for you (assuming) and cheap!

Ever since I have signed up here and given my real email address I have received 3 times as much spam then I did before I signed up to Anantech. I just assumed someone sold my email address I use my hotmail address for anything that asks for an email the only reason I used my personal address is because I had to. I do have my address hidden also.
