Someone save us...

turn off the radio and move away from the tv, computer, turn yourself into an amish.

I dont like it myself but I cant do anything but that about it.

Johnny Cash is definitely country.

All the newer stuff is more like a mix of country and rock and something else. I like the older stuff...up to around Garth Brooks era. Go listen to some George Jones and Cash, Marty Robbins (El Paso...great song), Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, etc.

As much as I dislike country, I never hear it or see it. If you don't like something you can you know, not listen to it.

I agree. That is why I am pulling off my ear lobes tonight.

There are a few good country songs out there that actually sound enough like rock that I can stand listening to it.

I like some Country, but I grew up listening to it so that probably is why. Don't really listen to much of it though, just the occassional crossover artist(like Shania Twain) or when mixed in with other stuff. Other than Shania, I'll go out of my way to listen to Randy Travis, I like his voice and his songs are usually reflective and remind me of my childhood somewhat.
