Someone explain the double R in "Hot In Herre" ... yes, that is how the assgoblin spells it. And if anyone spells it right, he'll shoot you for "dissin his stylezz" because that's what rappers do.

I've heard the jail thing, and I've heard that in an early performance he actually had it on for a reason, like he had a cut on his face, and he thought it looked cool, and wears it all the time now.

Close. Nelly had an actual cut on his face, so he wore a bandage. Then he saw some kids with a bandaid on their face trying to emulate him, so he decided to keep rocking it.

I believe that's the way he pronounces it. Not "here" like me and you say it but say the word "her" with an elongated r.
