Hello folks!

I'm an Anandtech forums n00b, and I figured you guys could find the reason this bundle is so cheap... I'm guessing it's because of the SiS chipset as opposed to Nforce 3, but please tell me what you can find. All help is appreciated

BTW, I'm looking for 754 anyway. Plan to go to 939 or then eqivalent once I outgrow my 9800 XT.

That is not an unreasonable price. The mobo is probably a generic board, and I personally like nForce chipsets better than any others. Personally, I say get an A64 3200+ (OEM is like $170, Retail probably around $200) and a Chaintech VNF3-250 for $80ish. Or just buy used parts @ FS/FT and save yourself some more moolah
