Tried the Video section and NO replies.

I read on Tomshardware that you CAN't use 2 computer monitors simultaneously on the ATI All In Wonder 7500. Is this still true?

I need to know ASAP.

I need dual display for COMPUTER monitors with MPEG capture and good 3D

if not then what about the All in Wonder 8500?

Thanks

Just go to ATI's site and see what they say about their card's abilities. If it isn't listed as a feature, then it probably can't do it.

You can only use 2 monitors if your card has dual monitor output at the back of the card. Looking at a picture of the card, it doesn't look like you can do it. The AIW Radeon 8500DV allows you to hook up a monitor and a television at the same time.

ATI PC Video Cards

Hope this helps.

You can dual monitor if you use a dual head card that supports it, I don't think that the ATI All In Wonder 7500 or the All in Wonder 8500 suports this but I'm pretty sure they do support TV out but that only mirrors your image from your main monitor.

That being said you will have to use a 2nd vid card (PCI) to drive your other monitor (that is if you have a PCI sclot free and you are using Win 98 or higher). I've been using a triple monitor setup for a couple of years now ( I use All in Wonder 128) so if you need more help, post more questions or email me.

See ya and good luck
