...In a truck, with a peice of rope tied around the back bumper, to the front bumper of another truck.

The truck in back had a flat right rear tire. It's turn signals were not attached to the truck in front. All 4 wheels were on the ground, and there was no one controlling the steering.

I have no idea how he planed to stop... maybe he doesn't care about the truck behind him bumping into his truck?

If anyone ever deserved to be pulled over for driving a dangerous vehicle, it's this guy. People who do realy stupid things on relatively busy resedential streets should not be driving.

I saw something similair once in VA.

Some idiot was towing his friend's car with a chain only... his friend was steering the rear car.

They got their timing wrong... the lead car turn left, the rear car turned right... the chain snapped... you can imagine what happened next.

It was the first time I ever had to call 911.

Holy sh!t... we have a half-restored MGB in our basement, and we move it in and out of there like that attached to a tractor... its bad enough driving around in the yard like that, let alone down a street! Not to mention the serious damage that could do the the towee truck... im kinda dumbfounded at this

So it has a flat tire yet it's being towed on all 4 tires?

Btw, anyone care to explain why I always see cars being towed (by RVs, trucks, etc) without anyone steering? Isn't the front tires sliding during turns a bad thing?

Sounds like a perfect time to throw a basketball or something in front of the lead truck to either get the driver to stop suddenly or swerve. The results would have been educational.

well, at least theres no guy in the back trying to slam the brakes before the 5 foot gap between him and the next truck becomes nothing
