that doesn't mean you can't find out what workgroup this guy is in.
you can find out a lot of things by sniffing him back, what he's accessing, and if you analyze the packets long enough, you can trace where he's going, what he's downloading, uploading, etc, etc, etc.
as for net send, drop down to the ms-dos prompt and type without the quotes "net help send".  that will give you the help dialog for that option of the net command.
and no, i'm not an l33t h4x0r.  i just happen to know certain IT specific information.  

  pick up a book about hacking if you are really interested in this stuff, but if you ever work in security, i hope you are really good with politics.  i spoke to the director of security at my workplace and he's had to deal with hackers, crackers, fbi, police, cia, internal politics.  i walked away from that conversation with this, "if i had said the wrong thing, the entire hacker community can attack the corporation and bring it down."  pretty powerful.
