Someone hit my car yesterday

I came out to the parking lot after work yesterday and immediately noticed something wrong with my back bumper.

There was a 1.5'-2' mark across the right side of my back bumper. It looked like someone was backing out and just... kept going.

I was absolutely livid last night. Of course, no note, no nothing. I took it to a detail shop and they did all they could (buffed it out and used touch up paint), but it will still need to be completely repainted.

How about some personal accountability you fuckers. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that I would have left a note. Now I'm down $500 all because some asshole can't get his own shit together.

I should have taken pics before I took it into the shop. Now, even if I did somehow catch the guy, I probably couldn't prove it really. Bleh. :|

Next time, hookup an explosive device to the bumper. When the douchebag backs into your car, KABOOOM.... 1 less douchebag in the world.

Of course, you'll have to buy another car. But at least you'll have the pleasure of knowing that it's 1 less douchebag to bump into your car.

I was going to leave a note on the windshield but your piece of shit car didn't have any wipers. Meh.

Plus, you can identify the offender from the remains and file a claim with his insurance. 😛

Never leave a note! Take down the license plate # and report the incident to the police. By leaving a note on someones car you open yourself up to fraud. How hard would it be for them to put the note on another more damaged car they own? Just call the cops.

This happens to me every day at USF, too many of daddy's little girls driving around in their fucking RX300s (God I hate that car) and *shudder* 4-door G35s and other assorted rich bitch cars shouldn't be driving.

I drive a 2007 Altima, and it's been to school since I got it, and not a single mark on the car is my fault. In two and a half years, WHILE PARKED, the following has happened to my unattended vehicle:

Front right wheel well
Front left wheel well - minor
Rear right wheel well - destroyed my rim, the factory rims are fucking $1000 a piece or something equally obscene, so I just kept it as is. there's a huge red gash going through the rim (it's a line, not a curve, couldn't have been me, the car was stopped when it was hit) that continues all the way through to the rear bumper, I hope whoever did that loses all 4 tires and rims in some freak tire slashing/rim theft rampage
Rear left wheel well - horrible dent, took a lot of paint off

Yes, nobody in FL can park. I hate it here. I would hate to see whoever hit my car try and park in between two F-250s or something.

I luckily haven't yet had anything quite that bad happen to my car, but students around these parts are notoriously bad (and inconsiderate) parkers as well. I have something along the lines of a half-dozen dings on my year-old car, all from people opening their doors into it.

Seriously, how hard is it to park STRAIGHT, leave enough room between you and the car next to you so that both of you can get out, and then open your door slowly enough to not leave a dent in someone else's vehicle?

Edit: Forgot to mention that 2/3 of the student body drives full-sized pick-up trucks, half of which are raised. Makes parking in general an absolute joy.

Can't you just get Q to hook you up with a new Aston Martin?

Q is dead, fool! It's Felix now.

😕 John Cleese took over the role in Die Another Day. Q has been absent in both Daniel Craig movies, but I don't recall the character dying. Correct me if I'm wrong.
