My friend doesn't know the title of this story, and so I said, let me ask my powers of knowledge who will know. Let's see if I can be right..here's a very basic skeleton of it..

There's this loserly sort of guy who has a really sweet little brother who adores him but he's pretty cruel to the kid.

He's nice on the days this bitch of a girl he has a huge crush on is nice to him and he just doesn't see how what he does to his brother is what the girl does to him

Something like that, it was a great story and i'm never going to be able to find it again
