Someone help me with my cd burner!!

Whenever I try to use it, (iomega cdrw 12x4x32)(windows mE)
It says that I need some scsi host adapter and that it can't find the win-aspi file "?.?"
It says
Please check for correct windows ASPI manager installation of your scsihost adapter software (error 16: no adapters)
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPP
dang it i just spent 155 bucks on this
