Gotta write a couple of pages on
In what ways can psychology be used to explain everyday occurances
Anyone got ideas on where to start?
(Haven't had any psychology classes yet, it's a task set over summer to help us get started on the subject)

Explain road rage and the psychology behind that?

Or PC gaming deaths/murders. I'm sure you've heard the stories. Player 1 loses and kills player 2 in real life.

I think it's meant to be a general overview of how psychology can be used to explain stuff, but I'm not sure, we got set the question ~7 weeks ago.

Psychology posits a knowledge of our underlying drives and motives, or at least it posits a means of determining the reasons why we operate as we do in daily life. Technically psychology could be used to explain why people post on internet forums instead of going to the grocery store. Speaking of which, I have to go pick up some groceries.

We were told not to start until we'd got exam results back, which only happened about 10 days ago. If I'd failed my exams, I wouldn't have been going to the school so there was no point in doing the question. And its only 2 pages by wednesday, no hassle. (With ATOT ;))

Psychology explains why man will go extinct. Psychology tells us that we are unconscious of our motivations, analysis shows that what is hidden is what we are feeling. Further analysis tells us that what we feel is the worst in the world. Almost nobody wants to find that out. That's not so bad, but the problem is that psychology also shows that we create what we fear. Since we fear the worst, we will make it happen. Get ready to awaken or go extinct.
