dunno about HL2 because im waiting for the video card on my new computer . . .

however, i have seen pix of it, it is teh GORGEOUS! pure widescreen :D

the warranty so far is good, the new revisions (A01) has VERY LITTLE or NO backlight bleeding that the original ones had

haha...

Well...for me...I'm debating about these products from new years and tax return:

1. 20 inch Dell Ultrasharp Widescreen LCD
2. Mac Mini (OS X TIGER IS THE SHIT)
3. Athlon 64 upgrade (CPU/MOBO)
4. Clothes
5. Save it

Well?

hmm, only you know what is good for you

personally, i wouldnt get a mac mini now because then you have to upgrade to tiger when it comes out

i know this because i REALLY WANT OS X!!

ask mom and dad for clothes

i'd say if you wanna play HL2, and dont already have an A64, get that (or maybe a newer video card)

anyways, im going to go to sleep . . . it;s ALREADY 1:23!

ditto. If I took all the "red pocket" money and totalled them up since I was 3, I would probably only have less than $1k. About 80% of that is missing because I gave them to my parents to "save" it. :(

well, as i said in another thread, my town is CHOCK full of asians (its san marino, ca, but everyone calls it CHAN marino. . . yeah)

seriously, the week after chinese new year, these kids have brand new laptops, ipods, any expensive tech gadget they can buy with their brand new $$

that's because you live in freakin' San Marino. that area is loaded with filthy rich Asian kids that will crash their BMW 330ci just so they can tell their parents that they need an M3 because it handles better.

yeah, i am sure only Asian kids do that...

noone ever said ONLY asain kids do that...geez, everyone wants to turn whatever they can into something racist :disgust:

As the receiver, it depends on how many relatives you have and how loose they are with their money. I used to get about $200-$300 total from my relatives. My wife said she barely got anything over $100 from hers. Now that we're married, we have to start giving them out and we're stuffing them with like $10-$15 each only. There's no way we're giving over $20 to each of the kids we're related to... we'd be so 'po' we won't be able to afford the 'or'.

And besides, I'm anything but a stickler to the chinese tradition... a lot of it is superstition if you ask me. That's the nice way of putting it. ;)

Man, you live in San Marino and you drive a 10yr old camry? You must be one of the very few that do. I bet your parents drive pretty sweet cars though.
