I've never bought any apps before and i want to now. Mainly a obd2 app for my car.

I own multiple tablets and they all are assign different Gmail master accounts.

Currently I have a nexus 7 installed into the dash of my main car using email 1. And a Samsung tab 7 on my weekend car using email 2. My phone is using email 3.

So obviously I want to buy the app for $5 but be able to use it on all 3. I want it on my nexus 7/ email 1 mainly. Do I have to buy the app 3 times since they are all on different emails? I don't want to mix emails at all.

As it currently stands, yes.

Family Library isn't really a thing right now on Google Play. It exists, I've heard, but it's not much of a thing.

Why not have the same account on all devices? Any specific reason? You can create a 4th account for your apps and have the old emails separate for each device if you like.

The cheap solution would be to use the main email account to use on all devices to redownload your apps. After that, you can delete that account and sign in with your other (email 2, 3, etc).

I don't know if you could assign the play store to read from multiple accounts, that's why I suggested the previous method.

I thought it would be attached to my email?

Reason why I don't want to mix emails because each one has their own apps and I has annoying my car tablet had like silly games auto downloading and etc.

Any auto downloading can be controlled in settings. You've come up with a very complicated work-around to solve a problem that should have been easily solved with changing some settings.

It's pretty simple. If you buy an app on one account, you will not be able to see that you purchased it on any other account other than that one. What core2slow mentions is true though... you can sign into the main account just to download the app, and then sign back out. The app should still be installed and useable as long as it's not something that's network connected and works on some cloud service. You won't get updates though.

All of this is incredibly complicated though when the simple solution is to use a single account on all of your devices. That's what the service is designed for.
