Someone do me a favor - Nvidia related

Can someone with an 8800GTS/GT with the latest drivers check this for me-

In the advanced properties, can you set a 5 digit refresh rate such as 71.928hz or does it still limit to 4 digits i.e 71.92hz? And can you check that it "sticks" if you go back in later or does it truncate?

I need exactly 71.928hz for my crt projector and Nvidia's refusal to support Powerstrip or allow 5 digit refresh has totally blocked me from buying anything 8x00 related.

wouldn't it cause permanent damage to the monitor to force it to do 71.928 on a monitor not meant for this?

It's fine on a crt projector. Shouldn't be a problem for crt monitor if the rate is under the maximum.

thats good then... but it is still important to make that warning... some caring individual might break his LCD by trying to be helpful...

have you tried contacting nvidia's support? there might be some configuration file you can tweak to allow you to do that...
