Here is the memory

7.5 NS 168 Pin DIMM
Googlegear Part#: 80307-A-BOX
Manufacturer: Micron IC Chipset
Manufacturer SKU: MT48LC8M16M8A2-75C

I live in CA, so they would charge me tax.
Cost is:
$890 (for 10 sticks)
$15 (for Shipping)
$5 (for Handling)
---------
$910

If this memory is crap or the vendor (googlegear) is shady ... then I apologize. But as far as I know, Micron makes some pretty good memory. Anyone know if this will do CAS2? (I called their store ... saleslady said it was CAS3 @ 133, tech guy said CAS2 @ 133. You decide) If it will, then this is a great deal.
I need 2 sticks. Getting another 7 (assuming the group buyer only needs one) buyers should be easy with Micron memory.
Thanks.

well, you only save $1 over a single stick; plus the shipping/handling, but anyone doing a group buy would have to pay $3.20 or so for priority mail, so the overall savings is not that great.

After some research ... this is CAS3 rated. Micron RAM modules ending in 75 are rated CAS 3. While modules ending in 7E are CAS 2 rated.
In the end, this is not such a hot deal after all since you can find it elsewhere for less ... and without the hassle. It was worth a shot if it was indeed CAS 2.
