Hell, I don't answer it even when it's a valid name/number since it's always for my wife...

Unless it's a local number, I don't answer. If it's important, they can leave a message, if they don't, I assume it wasn't worth my answering. If I'm at my PC I'll Google the number and go from there.

I never pick up the phone anymore without checking the caller ID. Now cell phones are a different story. They ring around here and everybody is scrambling trying to find where they left it.
