these guys can't be serious.

they say they have a bigfoot, photos of bigfoot and video of bigfoot but they "aren't ready to realese it"

Well, not until the crack scientific team of Igor, Dimitri and Megan from Fox get to study it.😀

This makes me proud to be an American. This is almost as good as the cybersquatting of the early 90's in terms of making an easy buck

yea that is what i dont get. if it is so real then fricken bring it out and SHOW IT TO US!!

im on the fence on this, it took guts to make a world announcement like this...this is the only benifit of doubt im giving them. but that is slipping away fast.

i know if i found a big foot my cell phone would be out in a second calling the local news to send a film crew out ASAP.

it happening right now and it sounds very promising. www.CNN.COM

Tom Biscardi is a respected Bigfoot hunter, if he is coming out the world saying that the body is infact a bigfoot it should not be taken as a hoax.

<tap tap tap>
I think my sarcasm meter is broken.
1. There are *no* respected big foot hunters that I'm aware of; merely some that aren't considered as nutty as others
2. Biscardi has been involved in other hoaxes in the past, which should completely erase any thought that he's credible, if such thoughts existed in the first place.

i know i know. but i just want it to be real.

In this day and age with high end digital cameras, they still have blurry ass photos. You'd think that if it was indeed such an important find, you'd run to the store and buy a $200 7mega pixel camera to get a good shot.

I made that point in another thread a long time ago - with increasing encroachment of suburbia into wooded habitats, and cameras being carried FAR more frequently now than in the past (cameras on cell phones, digital cameras), it seems that there would be far more reports than in the past. But, reports haven't increased in frequency. It appears the only thing that's remained the same is the frequency with which people attempt to perpetrate hoaxes.

So, legal ramifications for the tools that faked this? I assume they got money for giving up the 'bigfoot' and such so, Fraud? Jail time?

I think the local paper said they've been running Bigfoot search tours for $500 a pop, so yeah I hope they go to jail as a disincentive to any other idiots who think about doing this in the future. And I think they still have their regular jobs, so hopefully they get fired.

I really couldn't believe that the media was actually giving these guys the attention that they wanted. Bunch of idiots.

The best part is if these guys get any jail time (I doubt they will, though). A former corrections officer and a cop. They should do well in prison.

Hah, didnt think about that...

I guess they will discover quite a few shambling hairy beasts in prison. 😀
