Somebody keeps faxing things to me.

I have no fax machine but I can hear the fax tone when I pick up the phone.
How can I block calls so these stupid calls can stop?

Find said number faxing you.

Use a fax available at many places with a piece of paper or two set together so it keeps faxing over and over but use sheets of black paper so after the 40 or 50th time it goes through the other fax is out of ink.

Two possibilities I can think of. 1 someone gave out the wrong fax number to someone and they keep trying it. 2 You ended up on a fax spam list. At work we get 2 or 3 or more fax SPAMs a day, advertising for vacations, businesses etc etc...

Probably someone who put the wrong number in the fax and set it on auto redial. Plug in a fax machine it's probably confidential information. 😛

Actually I had someone call me at work all inraged that this was happening to him. We do not have any way to block numbers through the DMS, and I think there's even a law that prevents us from blocking numbers but I could be mistaken. This guy kept calling every 2 minutes on the 611 line super enraged. Funny part is the fax came from a number we don't control and he expected we could do something about it.

Best bet is wait it out and it should hopefully stop. Leave the phone off hook if it's annoying.
