You're twisting the point. Subsidies would imply credits of some sort to the individual. What's to prevent an illegal alien showing they're at or below poverty level and getting reduced rate or free exchange insurance plans or public option? Do you understand how insurance works? If you did, you wouldn't be saying that if they are fully paying members of an insurance company they are 'using our money to assist illegals'.

You simply don't understand the basic premise of how insurance works, once you go learn about that you will see why if illegal immigrants DID choose to participate in these, it would be nothing but a good thing for us as illegal immigrants will certainly be net contributors to the system due to their demographics. I don't understand why Obama makes such a effort to accomodate that group, they are proud to be the party of NO and are hellbent on causing ANY health care reform bill to fail-for political reasons. Time for the Dems in Congress to do what they were elected to do and pass a bill on their own. Except for the rare outlier, the GOP will work as hard as they can to gridlock Congress and defeat any bill.
