Damn! I'm gonna make a screenshot of your post and put that as my wallpaper for me to read everytime work starts and finishes :) That's probably better for me than me drooling over my Natalie Portman wall paper :)

And so a young sapling from the UW-Seattle people realizes shared commonalities present in human beings. And his system works, he survives in it time after time, growing accustomed to the nuances, the cultural idiosyncracies, the norms and behaviors leading to a desired outcome. Yet what happens when things fall apart? What happens when one realizes that the past experiences are molded to such an extent that the social reality of the past may not be Reality at all? Many have gone mad when their world fall apart, and some have grown wiser with time, understanding that the shared humanity is only one facet of a larger experience humans are able to have. The young grasshopper sits and learns the ways of his people from errors and from elders, and with time shall understand the ways of all people, if eyes are open.

(I'm making up for my dry spell of few really esoteric and obfuscated ramblings. I'm slipping...)

Cheers ! :)

I have found that when u characterise people u invariably screw up .... so I don't with any sort of generalizations .... even this post !

Every individual is different and requires a different tact to bring closer ....

And I daresay ...... I have more experience than you za....15 ... at least in matters of girls ... BTDT.

eh...what do I need all this for? I have to be nice, patient, know what to say and what not to say.....for what?! I'll sit here by myself, doing what I wanna when I wanna. I'll be alone, but I'll be free. I'll copy and paste all this into a word document for use in about 30 years.

(JUST KIDDING....RELAX! Me and my girl are actually quite happy together. I'm just showing what I used to think a few years back.)

another thing. regarding the "infamous friend zone". imo, it's good to have female friends. it allows you to study the female in a less volitile atmosphere. if you treat this girl with respect as a friend think about what she'll tell all her other friends about you. if she's has single friends she'll talk about how sweet you are and all that good stuff that you want to hear. it just puts you in a position to hit something off. ;) so, that's why having female friends can be a big plus.

For the slightly more devious among us... :D Yes, that is another good reason to have female friends. Especially in college... :D;)

I'm a winner... things are gonna change, I can feel it. ;)

No, it's not that you're not a nerd... just that, women are more accepting of nerds in general as time goes on.

Some cases are too far gone... but I think those guys find equally nerdy girlfriends in the end (kind of like Professor Fink and his gf in the Simpsons)
