We now have a fairly extensive collection of icons, but many of our members don't fall into the "normal" categories. Herewith I propose some suggested icons for a few of our AT ICONS:

1. RedDawn: A pair of parted red lips with some big white teeth and an upturned black mustache on top, a la Salvador Dali;

2. PennState: A college kid wearing a piano for a hat and looking askance at last semester's grades;

3. Dennilfloss: A large toad, wearing a morter board with tassle and horn rimmed glasses. He's masticating the Encyclopedia Brittanica, in French of course.

4. Isla: A Picasso-esque line drawing in red of a female standing with her back arched and a rose in her mouth and a white dove in her left hand.

5. Tominator: A Revolutionary War Militia Man, with a fully automatic, locked and loaded hard drive in his back pocket of course.

6. FettsBabe: A college girl holding a copy of Black's Law Dictionary. The girl must be in the "babe" category, Southeastern variety.

7. Ornery: A buckeye with its right arm raised holding the American flag. No left arm of course.

8. TripleShot: A very large rabbit, running into the Library of Congresss.

9. Russ: No icon, but his name should be Russ.com.

10. WombatWoman: She hasn't been seen in these parts recently, but if she's still posting then Venus de Milo with Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle at her feet.

I encourage members to post other suggested icons as I have merely scratched the surface of possibilities. :p :p :p

The Paulson Icon: A large BI-PEDAL giraffe. Clumsy, but, dare I say it, cute?!

I think we should just add elephant and donkey icons and maybe it'll get rid of these stupid political party suck-up threads.

And I need a straightjacket icon.

Those are really good Chess9, lol. As for me, I think unxpurg8d would be shown justice with an icon of Phyllis Diller. :p

Now it's my turn to hide..... ;)

hahahahaha you evil brat, GirlFriday! I'm not quite THAT old! More like Roseanne minus a quite a few pounds, plus a little more attitude, and a WHOLE lot crabbier (oh God, AND without that annoying voice!). :p

Hmm....now for YOU... I kinda picture Xaviera Hollander dressed up as June Cleaver. You know, "Happy Hooker meets High-heeled Homemaker".......... muahahaha! :Q :D

I love the imagery Chess9! You must "Know Thyself" as Socrates would say. What's your icon? I have a vague idea of what I'd choose for you, but the devil is in the details, as they say. ;)

MontanaFan:

I would describe my icon, but just raising the specter of Einstein, Shecky Green, McEnroe, LaFollette, and the obigatory ewe, would probably not sit well with my many detractors. :p

Only my mother would understand. :( :)

That's OK chess, you can share the straightjacket icon with me. In fact, everyone can have their own personalized straightjacket. I'm smearing mine with blood...

Toolgirl:

I'm thinking Rotozip, and Rotounzip, but not Pkunzip. A touch of Vaseline and a large black whip. Hmmmmm, sounds yummy! :p :p

AMD:

Who would be fitting me for the straight jacket? I just love a little B&D, but my tormentor has to be somone with a Rotozip, or bigger. :p

Chess9,

I was thinking more along the lines of Jimmy Stewart, Gordon Gekko, Cal Ripken, Jerry Seinfeld, Clarence Darrow, and a border collie.

P.S. Meant to throw a little Mark Twain and :) in there.

chess...

LOL! Well, I must say, you have a special gift for seeing into the heart of cyberspace denizens. I like the pictures that you paint... very creative and insightful.

I think your special icon should be a Bishop or a Rook superimposed with a measure of your favorite symphony and a magnifying glass in hand. :)

MontanaFan:

That's probably much closer, but way too generous, particularly the border collie part. :)

Isla: Very, very nice, as usual. :p But MontanaFan knows me a little better. Of course, she's wasted half her life reading this stuff! :p With a leetle time, ve vill shahpen ze zeenikal edge of ze vit, vatever vit u gut luft.

Okay, so why am I now thinking of the Gabor sisters?

Hey Chess9, I don't read that much here, just what I know will be interesting.
