Hi all, love the site & the forums :]

I had a question..

I've got a faulty ABIT AV8 S939 motherboard right now (AGP) that is giving me loads of trouble, and I'm going to RMA it.. In the meantime, I figure I might as well make the leap to PCI-Express and sell my current BFG 6800GT AGP video card and throw in some extra cash and purchase a PCI-Express 6800 Ultra..

Which brings me to my first question: Which 6800Ultra is best? Some have been saying LeadTek, while more are saying BFG.. Do both come with lifetime warranties? (I know BFG does..) What is your personal reccomendation for a 6800Ultra, which brand, etc.

Also, soon, I will be getting a second 6800Ultra to run in SLI (I've got a nice budget to make an insane gaming computer) So please reccomend a brand of card that will work great in SLI.

Secondly, what motherboard is best for an SLI setup? All of the Anandtech articles about SLI are pretty dated, and I'm not sure what the best choice is right now. I was looking at the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum-SLI S939 nForce4...

I came here to ask, because I regard you guys as the best :]

Thanks for the help/reccomendations!!

best is relative. but BFG is definately good. there cards come overclocked and with a lifetime warranty, kinda hard to beat. but you do pay a premium.

According an article @ xbitlabs, the K8N Neo4 Platinum-SLI S939 would pose the least compatibility problem with the Venice core.

although probably the latest BIOSes would have fixed other mobos as well.

Personally though, I'd pick the ASUS A8N-SLI for its quality, stability, and overall memory compatibility.
