I've had some weird sh*t happen to me in life. There's a guy on death row that tried to kill me, some other nearly equal events that exceed "normal."

Could you explain this?

On a personal note- I had some guy threaten my life back in March, and he committed suicide two days later. That really had me wondering about karma.

I've learned a thing about Karma. I was going to a friend's house on my bicycle. I did a wheelie trying to show off in front of this girl I used to have a crush on but did it too aggressively and fell off. The guy was laughing his ass off as I was in pain (I was moving pretty quick) and never once asked me if I was ok. Two days later, he died in a car accident racing on NJ Rt 42.

It's a long story but the really short version goes like this:

My friend and I were in downtown San Diego, left a pub there around 9:30 or so. He drove, I was in the passenger seat. We were pulling up to a light when a guy came up to his car and told him to give it to him. Honestly, the guy looke homeless, or something akin to that. My friend refused, laughing a little bit at the request. The guy pulled out a .357 and shot my friend point blank in the head. He pointed it towards me but my friends body slumped forward and blocked him long enough for me to get out.

It turns out the guy was an escaped prisoner. They were transferring him from local custody to federal to try him under a 3 strikes charge. He hid a handcuff key under his tongue that he stole from a sheriff's key ring while in custody. Despite a fellow inmate telling police that he had a key and was going to escape they transported him (6'4" 220ish 35ish year old black guy) and one other disabled prisoner in a small van with a single 54 year old female deputy. He undid his handcuffs, kicked out the door and started running. Instead of radioing in the deputy ran after him, at which point he knocked her out and took her gun- the .357. He tried to carjack a cab just before us, we were unaware of that. The cabbie bit the guys hand and pushed the gun away and then took off.

The whole thing happened on a Monday, they didn't have time to re-enact it so I went on america's most wanted the following friday. They caught him in compton the following monday. The first trial had a hung jury in the penalty phase so he represented himself in the second, the c*cksucker got to question me and I had to sit there. He eventually did himself in and they gave him the death penalty.

So he's sitting up there with Scott Peterson playing cards now I guess.
