Anyone reading, after about page 5 the whole thing just turns into circular arguments. All the good stuff is on page 1-4 or so.
Wish I'd stopped reading earlier, but whatever.

SS is a multi player online 2D game that used to be owned by VIA. Now it is player owned and operated and is 100% free. You can download both the server and client exectuables from http://www.subspacehq.com

The zones are fully customizable by the sysops and you can set up pretty much whatever you can imagine. The client side is also fully customizable... But lately there have been some problems with that (sysops making their graphics mandatory).

There ya go! Hope to see you and maybe some other Andantechers in the game. 🙂

P.S. The client is now known as Continuum.
