There are things you can do in court to help your son and yourself. Her parents are responsible for everything that happened at their home. Let me tell ya, as soon as her parents see papers that they are being sued they will pressure their daughter to talk and she probably squel like a stuck pig. Then you can press charges against those boys. The hell if I wouldn't. Hope he is doing better.

im stil enraged about hearing about all this and i swear i felt like punching the cubical wall down wheni read certain parts.

anyways...in high school, i used to run with the wrong crowd, and i left, and although i did not get beat upon, what she ways is true. The crowded that you leave almost instantly hates you. Its even worse when the females get involved. We had a student lifelined (helicoptered) to a local hospitol because SHE got jumped by numerous, numerous kids/teens.

My point is it doesnt surprise me. it might sound ubsurd but this stuff does happen. i wouldnt deny the childs story for one second and give you my full support. the problem is these kids that did this dont care about pretty much anything. and the girl who called them needs to be smacked and i hope she gets punished by court just as bad as the boys. 6 on 1 is a cowards game.

if it is a pick on the handicap game, then that is the motive. but with a girl involved, something doesnt add up. was he seeing this girl? and maybe one of the 6 was a bf of some sort, and well, tehn its revenge.

Just brainstorming, also, you said 5 where issued warrants...dont let the 6th get away. i may only be 19 but i saw this kind of stuff everyday for 4 years in High School. dont let them get away.

I totally agree...in court when these bastards are forced to talk, they will spill everything. and please be sure to keep up updated...a lot of ppl here are outraged and would like to know the resolutions and punishments against the assholes.

DABANSHEE: Bouncers are allowed to use reasonable force under the circumstances only. If excessive force is used, both the bouncer and bar owner are liable. This case is CLEARLY excessive force (assuming that their story is accurate).

I would file a civil action against all the boys involved, the girl and her parents. At the very least, the parents homeowners insurance may kick in some or all of the necessary $.

I am very sorry to hear about what happened to your son. I will pray that he makes a quick and full recovery.

I feel that the long term effects of going through the legal system are going to hurt these guys MUCH more than any physical retribution. My son and I have talked this over and he's very satisfied with the result that prosecuting them will have.

This is very true, but charges against them are just the first steps aren't they? I don't know much about this type of thing, but I bet they need to be convicted first.
Be strong and see this through to the end. Don't rest or let up at any point during this process. Your son can't back off from going after his &quot;friends&quot; at any point. He needs to be very strong and follow through so these people will have the black marks on their records that they deserve.
